Atlas Essence Cosmetics, founded in Marrakech, blends Morocco’s ancient beauty rituals with modern science. Despite using premium ingredients like saffron and volcanic clay, their sales plateaued due to generic packaging, a disjointed visual identity, and social media templates that failed to convey their luxury positioning. Their target audience—eco-conscious millennials and high-end spa retailers—demanded a brand experience that reflected both authenticity and sophistication.

Project Objectives

  1. Define a Premium Visual Identity: Create a cohesive brand language resonating with global luxury markets.

  2. Revitalize Packaging: Design eco-friendly, shelf-ready packaging that highlights Moroccan heritage.

  3. Strengthen Digital Presence: Develop social media assets to drive engagement and e-commerce sales.

Key Challenges

  1. Weak Visual Identity:Inconsistent logo usage, color schemes, and typography across platforms.

    Social media posts used stock imagery, diluting brand uniqueness.
  2. Outdated Packaging:Labels lacked hierarchy, with cluttered text and low-quality printing.

    No alignment with sustainable trends (e.g., recyclable materials).
  3. Online Invisibility:Instagram feed had no aesthetic cohesion, resulting in a 1.8% engagement rate.

Minimalist Logo with Cultural Nuance: Designed a sleek logo featuring an abstract mountain silhouette (symbolizing the Atlas range) and a dot pattern inspired by traditional zellige tilework.
Sleek, Sustainable Packaging: Primary Packaging: Amber glass bottles with custom silicone sleeves (reusable as travel containers).
